(this gonna be a short short post)

trainings started
with new sec ones^^

hehe and yesh trainings been fun with all the laughs and talks bout yamapi lollll and songsss

back from obs^^
hehe better start posting before i forget
and hehe like danetta
i too might be coming back here to read on what happened when imma 84 :D

day 1:
arrived in school
all hyped up with our heavy bags
so we all assembled in the hall
got our attendance taken and
off we went to pungol jetty by bus
didnt take long
and off we were on the bumpboat
upon reaching obs,
we applied all the sunblock repellent yada yada
split into groups (reg. number)
unpacked our store

after all that we got set for a belay practice
BUT it started raining extremely heavily and
thankfully there was the MPH to do the practice

point to note: the MPH, a place which I later learned was the best sleeping place

that night after fire drill, we cooked our own food with all the mesh tins or wtd u call em^^
hehe AND smart us forgot to put the toothpaste
but nvm cus smart us chose a insect infested place to cook
hahaha but dinner was NICE^^
(consisted of rice, cocktail sussages<33, tuna i think or sth else)
though i still envy columbus' / huilian's rojak-cum-rice-sardine-cum-nut-cum-dinner
after gettng all nice and clean,
we later learned that we had to learn how to pitch a tent^^
hehe
so we walked through this muddy field
getting all dirty again learned to pitch a tent
and turned in for the night 4 of us in the tent, dan,gladys,rachel lu
(and im sure i heard music playing at night hmmm)

day 2:
woke up to do PT
short run a few contdition
and packed our stuff into those big blue bags
and we learned how to kayak today (hairi+tracy--columbus' instructor)
after some reflection and stuff
we did all the capsize drills
haha
so i partnerred gladys
and off we went^^
though gladys didnt now how to swim,
i guess we did okay ((;

and it was really funnnnn
cuz like the first capsize drill-attempt,
we wernt exactly ready to get all wet
so we went

quite short a distance and we practiced more capsize drill
we did one with constance and carissa
which kinda failed cuz when we turned them the right way up, their kayak was still half ful><

and the koala hug thingy the empty the kayak is fun
then we tried the capsize drill with dan and rachek which was really fast^^
next both of our watches cook & columbus aka the whole of 307
drafted in to try and stand on our kayaks

which was really funnyy

which didnt actually help in the balancing :D

nevertheless kayaking was fun^^
upon reaching we did the normal eat our dry ration lunch
(leia wanted to switch lunch since we were diff watches if i got bread for lunch we'd switch cuz she wanted bread and i didnt want bread haha sadly in the end i didnt get bread so we didnt switch) lol

so anywayyyy
all WET and STINKY
with my shoes soaked and my socks pieces of cloth
we did
DDD the log thingy cuz it was raining
pityyyyy we didnt get to do the actual height elements :(
haha BUT STILL it was really fulfilling

first up was hannah and rachel ahaha
it was rather facisnating to see em climb up
esp since THEY ARE SOOOO TALLL!!!

yet they still had to REALLY REALLY stretch top get up to the next log
and at that point i was like

haha but i think rachel was really funny but she tried her best and

since we decided to get over and done with it
and i must admit
you better trust urself when sth looks hard cuz it was really rather difficult
nonetheless PARTNERSHIP IS REALLY IMPORTANT!

hehe but it was really fun cuz like gladys used her leg to make a triangle thingy for me to step up which was really stable
and i made the extra handle like thingy for her to pull herself up
and each holding on the secure each
and laughing while being frightened

then there was the others ahah dan went with cheryl gatot

and when they were almost there they were too scared to look down so they started talking to the ceiling to talk to us cuz they didnt wanna look down^

but yeaa on the other side, where the logs weere inddeed harder,

oh yesh and wen the chinese scholar xue ke i think
went up, rachel got all high and saying things in chinese haha that was hilarious^^

ah yes and spotted nataliekoh at the climbing place too later found out her watch didnt wanna do their instructor's games cuz they wanted to watch us climb hahah

next was DINNER! COOKED DINNER!!! ((:

and rachel was like "my birthday falls on the same day as mao ze dong!"

then it was hairi's turn to anw our questions
found out he got 4 gf ooooo haha and yada yada (he talks bout his gf cuz we ask)

guess he was waiting for sun down or sth cuz by the time we pitched tents it was
DARK
haha and the place we pitched had like a really hard surface so we couldnt use the pegs and settled for muddy logs and coconuts
haha and
our tent kinda lost its metal pole thingy thingy so our tent was lopsided
and there gladys,rachel,dan and i were in the dark
thinking of what to do ahha
in the end we did get to sleep
jus in a saggy tent with no fly sheet lucky it didnt rain^^

we woke up early early so we could pack our tent
it was still dark so we used our torch and stuff to do it
ahah just that again i think i heard some twigs snap and sth there but when we shone our light nothing! guess we were just scaring ourself hahaha :D

we got all changed and another COOKED BREAKFAST!

we set off trekking to ubin village
4-5 hr trek was it? it was kinda tiring
but we found joy in singing those weird songs
haha gladys was like must get high with me okay!
haha that worked^^
arrived at our destination! next to the beach pretty stars!

which i forgot who laughed at me cuz i said it was called the big bear which i still think is true^^

the toilet was REALLY FAR and we couldnt bathe so our tent settled for powder bath and
cook cooked their own food today^^

our trip (dan,gladys,me) to the toiklet was kinda frweaky too haha cuz the eyes of the wild dogs were like glowing in the dark and stuff like that but we made it^^
had abit of cheering and briefing by sea ex leaders

and kinda talked in the tent with dan and gladys while rachel was out
waited for sentry duty and
haha SORRY kinda fell asleep while gladys and dan were talking
lol so anyway, got waken up by rachel and zhenling to do sentry duty and was kinda shocked by rachel's high pitch voice cuz she kinda lost her voice><

and iwithin those few minutes of
waking up
walking to our kayaks
getting scared by some dogs
walking back to our bags
which were supposed to be coverred by our tub mat,

the wild dogs had pulled of the tub mat
picked out our food bag which was suppose to be in one of our tents
scratched at it
opened the zipper
ripped off the bread
eaten the bread
eaten the apollo pandan bread
opened a can of tuna
licked it clean
AND lastly ran away before we could catch em

it really creeeped us out but anw, we called for zhenling haha
thanks alot^^
who helped us shine the torch and stuff then finally sentry duty was over and we went back to sleep but that wasnt the end
cuz in the morning,
our bags were ANT INFESTED that
includedour ponchos and poncho bags haah

and i felt as though all the ants were all over meeeeee ^^
still it was an experience
set off with everything to our kayaks cuz this time we were kayaking back
got some biscuits in and stuff
and off we went!
haha kayaking 7hrs
started off fun
den kinda tiring
then REALLY EXTREMELY HIGH TILL THE END haha

got some oranges from the others
funny thing cuz every time i turned bakc
constance was eating oranges haha
and leia ate 6 oranges in the entire trip
and when dan switched to single person kayak
she was really wobbly i guess kinda frustrated
but still fast

and gladys and i high at the end doing the

so we were like

and lunch was in the sea too haha it was fun where we all drafted up and clinged onto the instructor's boat to eat
oh yea and if we needed to go to the loo it was in the sea><
(since we all had to drink alot of water like the 2 bottles of 2litre, haha yeah u noe the result)
and we DID DRIFT ALOT!
and had to make up for it in the end

and the sky was really nice and blue
and there were many many kelongs
and not far was civilisation^^
oh yes and before i forget to mention,
it helped alot when its every 30min or so or every stop,
you sniffed abit of orange peel to get rid of sea sick and
u put this pile/ slop of sunblock on u!
haha the geishas!
finally we reached!!

AN HOUR EARLY!

ended up, we had time to do JETTY JUMP!
which was fun
though there wasnt really any kick
cuzz the tide was high but STILL!!

hehe at least camp 2 had bathrooms just no light so we showered
in no light, all clean and stuff
and hairi helped cook soup and ovaltine for us ^^
hehe got really full and it started raining
aha yesh so gladys and i decided to use our disposable ponchos hah
gladys- white
mine-blue and
melinda started with the LITTLE BLUE BUTTERFLY
haha also, since it was raining,
we didnt need to pitch our tents^^
and we got the chance to sleep in the MPH! ahah
which was the best night cuz it was nice and cold on top of ponchos

next day, last day:
we packed up washed tents, ponchos, flysheets,lifejackets and stuff like that
and we were free cuz we did jetty jump the day before haha
so there constance,peixin,gladys,carissa,dan,cherylgatot and i were
koping oranges
peeling them and
giving the excuse that they're biodegradable and
did the same thing as we did in the sea to dispose em (as instructed by instructors)
it was funnnnn
and oranges areee niceeee ((:

next we met hairi
(this time not that late as the 2nd day--which i forgot to mention...that we were late and kinda got em pissed>< though the instrucors are really kind and dunt actaully scold u)
and hairi's signature move of his heart breaking haha and his face all screwed up :D

we did some litter picking up and
then trust fall
which felt abit scary at first
but turned out to be rather thrilling and fun
then it was trust dive to ring the bell
which was rather haha
inspirational
where we think of a goal and jump to ring the bell^^

oh yes and before that we kinda feasted with hairi with our left over snacks and the significant package of food we gave him which he insisted that the apollo was really good cuz it tasted like wafer and hot chocolate inside cuz it was hot and melted

haha then it was time to goo :(
bought some obs shirts^^
one for mum :D
and our watch bought one for hairi too haha
kinda ironic since he was working there but STILL!

took some pichars and ended up being the 2nd last watch to leave
took the 10min bumpboat back to singapore and
realised how the pulau ubin part with obs was so niceeeee
as in beautifulll hahhaa

passed the parts where we kayaked (which is actually needless to say since we'll obviously pass it ahah since we kayaked around almost the whole of the island)
in the bus,
we distributed the spare food and stuff like that
sang gladys' birthday song whihc is actually today
and yessss,

in the END
i DID HAVE LOTSAAA FUN!!!

met jiya,yut and leia,
went to swensens
orderred the cake

and then came the sms that nat and dan were here
so jiya and i set off to find them
(picking up a few sheets of tissue paper along)

after spotting them, we said hi and all
and somehw managed to sneak behind them and
COVER their eyes with the tissue paper^^

so there we were

(not a very short distance considering the escalators and a short road to cross)

We (becuz some ppl couldnt choose between final destination/ grudge2/IT) spent a really long time in VideoEzy deciding which movie to watch.

Then after the excitement we go back to watching the horror show.
We kinda aren't really following the plot/we don't get the story so we just scream in the right places. So Berenice's first horror movie was..interesting.

After the show we went out to play basketball/ netball/ the game where JIWA happens to always get hit on the head/face by an oncoming ball.

Then the ball kept flying over to the neighbour's house.
Can't help it see, we're just too strong damnit hahaha. (agreed!)
So we had to keep climbing over to retrieve it.

She said she learnt it from Leia.

So we took bus to jiya's house after that.
The bus ride was highly amusing too.

and they terrorised jiya on the way back/ we had a massive tickle fight and we all looked like we had some spasm thingamajig.

llala.. so yes... stayed back abit tilll 4.30 waiting.. so.. decided to stay in class fer awhile.. den went to foyer fer a while, den went to library for a while den decided to go back down.... and heard sumnoe playing the piano... sum how or another... i had that feeling it was chloe-_-

and so when i reached ground level.. there she was playing the pisano-_- haha..
hmm.. after playing a few high school musical songs and cleaning my sweaty palms on her (heehee), she started playing chopsticks! u noe that piano song.. (:

and i came up with this REALLY cool idea and asked her if she ever played the chopsticks song with chopsticks! and then.. she thought for a while and was like.. hmm.. i've never tried... wait maybe i have chopsticks in my pocket.. or spoon..-_- (sth along those lines)

first day:

woke up early early to go to school and we started off with ice breakers

MORNING WAS FILLED WITH GRAPE SEEDS! ZOMG HAHAH FROZEN GRAPES IS THE LOVE

hahaahwell, we kinda were to last group to find our clue but its was ok coz we like ran through all the stations poor ms zhang who had to chase behind us though she resorted to stayuing atthe mrt station (:

so yes,first station was the MAO ZE DONG one!

heehee.. and yes.. we had to chase husena (me n jean, ruixin lugging my bag (: heehee)

and when i asked her why after reaching the point she was like : so you all won't get lost what --or sth along that line (:

and io tihnk the TOMATO GAME WAS UBER FUN!

WhEeeeeeeeeeeeeeee finally decided 2 post^^ hehe

so.. yesterday.. had SL -_- hahaa.. though it was quite fun!
it was at e childcare centre and e children there are soooo cuteeeeeeee!!!! hehe.. so yea... kz n sylvia did some deco .. j9 n michelle did some flower thingy. ahha amanda n gillian did some chineses bk cataloging and that left sarah and me to paint.. LOL... picture this, 2 ppl struggling on ladders trying to paint the lime green wall oof a childcare centre!... it was.. well FUN! but we had to keep on washing our hands-_- hahahahahah... but it was kewl experience!! painting the wall-_- hahahahaha

today.. was well.. a rather... memorable day.
after training went 2 ebig courts place... haha // scouted for erm, pillows (: (: hheehhe// nice soft ones!!!! and then we went 2 jalan kayu. (spell?)

ate at this oplace called "Jerry's." The fried mushrooms were REALLY GOOD!!.. like REALLY juicy! and the steak wif crayfish was equally fantastic! and then ... their ever so famour buffolo wings.!!!1 so yeah.. first we started off with the first level "smoking"... REALLY GOOD! not that spicy jjust right... then.. we moved on to the 2nd level...haha though i kinda skipped it (: hhehehe./.... watched my bro n dad eat

their comments : "yeah its hot its hot!

then.. the ever so kind waiter came along with the last level's sauce! haha.. it looked like the normal tobasco..though it smelt really strong... and sour! but yeah.. we were quite confident...
asked for a cup of water...(notice it didnt include ice in it) and after that
my bros eachtook a slice of chiken and dipped it in the sauc e. and ever so clever me, follwed them. and thanks to my bro, as i was dipping the chicken in, he tap my hand and whoops!.. that piece was drenched in the sauce... haha... so after trying to reduce the amt of sauce on that piece of chicken, i musterred up the courage and.. hmm popped it in my mouth.
instantly, i felt a burning sensation in my throat... den it went to my tongue... and off both my hand flew to the nearest cups of water and within seconds the water was gone...!!!
like dried up!!!!
the ever so attentive waiter immediately brought us water WITH ice (: and again i gulped that down. in came the waiter once again with 2 cups of coke and 2 packets of sugar.. (which was supposed 2 help cool that down)

geeeee i drank so much.. and still my tongue was BURNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!... i could feel the heat..!! my bro was as if he had jus came out of the sauna!!! hahah it was.. hmm hilarious?? but.. not funneh... when our tongues were burning-_- haha

boy am i bloated!!!

i dunt feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel toooooo gooddd!! haha but at least.. today was the day i tried well probably the hottest chilli ever.. which had hmm the longest burning sensation.. !!!! and i am not gonna try sth like that again.. I HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Schools started... and ive gotten 2 noe my class teachers today.. as in not all but a few.. sooo.. the geog's teacher and the chinese's teacher(surprisingly) and the bio's teacher(of cause!)are really nice.and. funneh..!! >.<

so ... had CCAO a few days.. ago..i think 2? 4got..oopz.. hmm.. went 2 school at around 8am.. stayed at the foyer decorating stickers-_-... until around 8.45am i tink ... hahaha... that's wad u get 4 hving the first shift... but anyway... moved to the hall... chatted abit.. lala.. den went home..although i really wanted 2 stay...hmmmm,.. went back 2 school at around 2.. had e meeting.. then went to tis japanese shopping place.. sth klike daimaru..haha.. and they sold KOBE BEEF!!!!!!!.. wwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... so cool.... soo nice,... .. muahah.. .. so anw.. after that.. i tink had dinner out wif couz... and stuff... yea...

so yesterday... went 4 another meeting again... den went home.... went out again.. orchard.. 2 celebrate aunt
's bday.. weeeeeeeeee.. so long didnt go there.. mmahahah... lala.. walked around then went into the hyatt hotel.. (not sure how 2 spell) and had dinner there.. SOOOO COOL...n the food was REALLLLY GOOD!!>.<>.<>.< ... since it was aroudn 20ppl we had the biggest private room there.... the wine cellar... it was really cool.. like shelves.. and shelves.. and shelves... and shelves... of bottles of wine... waaaa.... and the food was really gooooooooood...!!!!! hehe.. took a sip of wine.. whoops.. but anw.. ... ate 4 bout 3hrs.. so full -__- birthday cake + song.. balloons.. hehe...sum1 accidently let go one and it rosed up and it got "stuck" at the light... lol.. dunt noe if it has popped yet... considering.. the light...heat.. ahha...

there's sth wrong.. cant really post pictures.. guess ill do it another time.. heehee. so for now... the trip

so..... although my face is SOOOOOOOO ROUGH>.< ... i miss hokkaido ALOT ALOT!!!!!! its sooo diff!!.. esp the weatherr... i feel so hot here... and its so humid!! i mean looooook at the temperature diff... errm.... singapore about :25 degrees.? i tink... hokkaido: 3 degrees and the day i left for singapore -11 degrees!!!!!

so it was sort of like this... waking up everyday... to the morning call.. hearing the tour guide's voice, the fellow tour grps' voices and the occassional "hi" and "ai yoh" from the little girl. putting on at least 3 layers of clothes which pratically was drowing me!!! and breathing in the crisp cool air while lugging along my bright-flashy-winter-jacket... seeing SNOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!! and HAVING THE SNOWBALL FIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!! (notice the "s" behind)

LALA.. ok so lets recount the whole thing... as far as i can rmb.. :S

First day: woke up at around 5am... boarded the plane around err.. i tink 8am... arrived at tokyo... transferred to the domestic flight to HOKKAIDO!!!! arrived at sapporo, HOKKAIDO!.. wasnt realy snowing... though there were ice bars on the road.. zz bad to walk on... !!! so saw the fellow tour grp ppl... sat on the bus 2 our hotel.. and had dinner... (chinese) then walked opposite 2 the store 2 buy a few snacks... then .. yea... went back 2 the room.... so the day basically was really relaxed... and alot of flying!!! >.<>.<>.

2nd day:
RODE ON A SNOW MOBILE TODAY!! weeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! so FuN!!!!! although couldnt drive >.< gee!!!!!!!!!! went 2 the butter, milk, ice cream factory too. the free ice cream was not bad though.. the free milk... i gave it away to my couz :D

3rd day:
went to the chocolate factory/museum the aroma there was HeAvEnLy!!!! wbaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! then we went 2 otaru.. where there were quite a few cute shops selling woodcarvings + keychains.. heeheeheee.... there was also a shop which sold ALOT of music boxes :D and one which had a superb cheese cake :D hahahahaha!!!!!! at night... we had a hot spring bath.... the onsen was both indoor and out door..!!! muahaha... really nice...!!!! esp the outdoor one...we slept on the tatami thingy.. abnd the next day it was SNOwIn g!!!! powder snow!!!!!!!!! omg COOL! ... we sort of attacked the tour guide too muahaha...

4th day:
fed the swans and seagulls today.. ReAllY fun!!!!>.. hahahahahaha!!! then watched the ainnu ppl dance... :D heeheeee!!! had another onsen 2day.. too bad only the gals had outdoor it was sort of like a rotation schedule :D muahaha and the outdoor onsen was much better den the day b4...!!!

5th day:
we saw cranes todaY!!!!! :D haha... i tink it was today.. not sure...where... after going up a tower, eating lunch, seeing a video...!!!! kinda cool video.. which showed the species coming in wif the ice floes..!!!! the SEA anGeL is SoooOO CUTWE!! and so is the MaRiMo!!!! waaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! there are alot of keychains having it too!!!.. uber CuTE!!!!!!!and oh yea... we also went 2 this fox place... CUTE TOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!... fed em beef jerky and stuff.. muahhaha.... den we went uinto this room temperature around negative 12 i tink and we were given a wet towel.... after shaking it around in e room,, when we were almost going 2 exit, the towel was practically standing up HAHAHAHAHAHA... so COOOOL!!!!.....!!"""

the next day:
mostly shopping at the supermarket buying food...lol...after taking a flight to tokyo... visited asakusa.. really cool place!!!! many shops, many people...!!!! ate alot there... and met some japanese fwenms 2...

last day:
left for singapore... owwwww!!!!>.<>.< .. lalala.. the shabu shabu place was really fun... ahHAHAHA... and lala.. the snowball fights..!!! quite a number!!.. like beside a waterfall, beside a volcanoe, outside the hotel, by a lake..!!!! UbER FuN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like making real big "snow balls" muahahaha!!!!! and now.. its really hot in singapore..........zzzzzzzzz >.<

but anw although quite a number of house comm ppl werent there, it was ReAllY FuN!! heeheeheee so... we went there early ... had breakfast... presented our proposal and stuff and talked bout stuff... heeeheeeheee!!!!!! den had a cheer session thingy... the new actions.. cheers.... lol... :D the new theme is kinda cute tooo :D
